Insight Family Health was founded in 2024 by Natalia Abrikosova, MD and Gary Micchelli, MBA to bring back the personalized, comfortable and local medical care that generations before have enjoyed.  In today's environment of aggressive, de-personalized corporate medicine we provide full service primary care medical services by experienced physicians in a friendly inviting environment designed to enhance your health and well being.  Located in Sunnyvale California at the corner of Mary Ave and Fremont, we are conveniently accessible via major highways to all of Silicon Valley and beyond.

The Current Landscape of Medicine:  Corporate medicine continues to shorten appointment times to 15 minutes or less, pressure patients into seeing inexperienced non-physician providers, and in conjunction with insurance providers, interfering in physician's judgement and delivery of medical care. 

Meanwhile primary care physicians are increasingly burdened by administrative and performance demands made by a population of administrators whose motivations are not aligned with the patients or physicians that they claim to represent. Big corporate medicine administrators instead focus on the perpetuation and expansion of their control of this vital public service. They accomplish this goal by creating more complexity to justify the continued expansion of their administrative domain.  

The Crisis: This continued expansion of the administrative domain is the source of the current "crisis" in medicine, wherein both public and private resources are being diverted from the doctors and patients to administrators. Public officials and so-called industry experts foolishly think the problem can be fixed by further expansion of the bureaucracy with the addition of new programs, rules and initiatives such as value-based care programs which only serve to support big-medicine. To pay for these programs and administrators to oversee them, physician pay is cut and more hurdles are placed between patients and care. In this environment few physicians desire to pursue primary care wherein the personal costs are high and rewards are diminished.

The Cure: Instead medicine needs to return agency to physicians by incentivizing private practice.  We don't see a similar crisis in Dentistry for example, because big corporate has not (yet) acquired and consolidated the independent practitioners in this field.

Mission Purpose: We see an opportunity to serve patients by advocating a return to sanity with independent physician-managed, patient-centered, medical practices offering personalized, comfortable and local medical care.
